Retire, withdraw, re-enter or remove an entry, which one to use, and why Remove disappears at the gun.

All on the entry's ⋮ menu:
| Action | Use it when | Available |
|---|---|---|
| Retire | The boat started and pulled out | Scheduled, Live |
| Withdraw | The boat is out of the race entirely | Scheduled, Live |
| Re-enter | You withdrew a boat by mistake, or it is back in | Scheduled, Live, on a Withdrawn entry |
| Remove | The entry was a mistake and should never have existed | Scheduled only |
It is offered on a Withdrawn entry, and only if the owner had already agreed to the boat being entered. A boat withdrawn while still Pending consent cannot come back this way: the owner never said yes.
The status exists and shows as a red "DNF" chip, but nothing in the current UI can set it. For this weekend, use Retire for a boat that started and did not finish.
That is on purpose. It deletes the row. Once a race has started, a boat that sailed should keep its place in the record, so use Retire, DNF or Withdraw instead. If you try anyway the app says: "Boats cannot be removed once the race has started; withdraw or retire the entry instead."
A retired boat greys out on the tracker rather than disappearing.
Competitors can withdraw their own boat from a Scheduled race, and nothing else. Scoring stays with you.
